Class information & Items to prepare (Roppongi Elementary)

School Day: The school day runs from 08:30 to 15:00.
Classroom Location: The Grade 1, 2 and 3 classrooms are located on the fourth floor. Please come directly to the 4th floor on the first day.
School Uniform: Your child is not required to wear a school uniform, except for a school hat. The hat can be purchased from the school office. To arrange a purchase, please contact office@etonhouse.co.jp. If your child already has the red EtonHouse hat, you do not need to purchase another unless you wish to.
Backpack: Please purchase a school bag that will enable your child to carry all their belongings including food, their water bottle, reading books and additional clothing appropriate for the weather. The class will make regular visits into the community.
Writing Resources: Writing materials and stationery will be provided in class.
Labeling: Ensure all clothing, bags, and pencil cases are labeled with your child’s name.
Swimming sessions and Karuizawa visits: We have swimming lessons in Term 1 & 3 and make regular trips to the beautiful town of Karuizawa. The teachers will be in touch with more information.
PASMO/SUICA card: Your child needs their own transport card for swimming, Karuizawa and community trips. Please ensure it has sufficient funds. Please let us know the card number in this form.
Extra: Please bring insect repellent and sunscreen for your child to use throughout the term. Your child can wear indoor shoes or bare feet inside the classroom.
Please complete the Indemnity form and Travel permission form prior to the start of school.
Snacks and Lunch: Please provide a nutritious morning snack for your child. Kindly note that we are a nut free school. Your child will also need lunch. This can be purchased from Kiwi Kitchen if you would like to make use of this service. Please find the details below.
