My child wears a diaper during the day. Can my child join the program?

My child is in Elementary school. Can my child join the program?
Sorry, this program is for preschool-aged children.
My child has never learned Mandarin. Can he/she join?
Our program is perfect for children with various levels of Mandarin.
My child’s English is at a beginner’s level. Is my child going to be OK?
The program is designed in a way that children of all different English level can enjoy.
What kind of snack should I prepare for my child?
Please prepare fresh fruits such as bananas. If you don’t like fruits, you can bring crackers such as senbei (Japanese crackers) as an alternative. Please avoid sweets such as cookies, chocolates, gummies, and potato chips. Those who signed up for the package plan (the program between 8:30am and 5:30pm) need to prepare both a morning snack and an afternoon snack every day. As we do not have a refrigerator, please refrain from bringing any snacks that need to be refrigerated for the afternoon snack. We are a nut-free school. All types of nuts (including chestnuts, coconuts) and any products that contain nuts (including peanut butter, almond butter, etc) cannot be brought into the school.
I would like to order lunch. Can I order?
You can order lunches from Kiwi Kitchen (03-3442-2210). Please call them directly. (in English or Japanese) Kiwi Kitchen lunch doesn’t come with cutleries so kindly bring them from home every day. Kindly ensure that you place your order by the Wednesday of the week prior to your child’s start date.
Do you apply for a visa or book accommodation?
Sorry, we do not apply for a visa or book accommodation.
I have signed up and made a payment but receive no Emails from EtonHouse.
Information regarding the program is sent to the Email addresses you registered on the registration form from the @etonhouse.co.jp domain. For EtonHouse students, Emails will be sent to the Email addresses you have registered upon enrollment.
We make sure that our Emails don’t end up in a spam box; however, if you are not receiving Emails from us, please kindly check your spam box. Please make sure to set in a way that your registered Email addresses can receive Emails from the @etonhouse.co.jp domain.
My child has learning, physical, behavioral or social difficulties. Which steps do I need to take in order to join the program?
Please provide details on the sign-up form. We will conduct an assessment as described below to determine whether participation is possible, and will contact you to let you know if your child is able to join the program. If, after the assessment, we determine that participation is not possible, a full refund will be provided. The assessment typically proceeds as follows.
As this is an important process to ensure the safety and well-being of your child and all participants, we kindly ask for your cooperation. Please note that if we are unable to conduct the assessment, we will not be able to accept the enrollment. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation in this matter.
- A staff member will call you to confirm details.
- If necessary, we will contact your child’s current homeroom teacher at their school, nursery, or kindergarten to confirm further details by phone. (If your child has just enrolled and sufficient information is not yet available, we may contact the previous school, nursery, or kindergarten.)
- If your child has received a diagnosis and you have a medical certificate or doctor’s report, please send it by email.
- Based on the above, the Operational Director, and the teacher in charge of the program will confer to determine whether participation is possible.

Please note that, in order to ensure the smooth operation of the program, the Operational Director and the assigned teacher will determine whether participation is possible. Therefore, submitting an application and completing the credit card payment does not guarantee placement in the program. We appreciate your kind understanding.
If a participant joins without providing sufficient details on the sign-up form and is deemed unable to participate safely on the day of the program, we may need to decline their participation without issuing a refund.

Does my child need to wear a uniform during the program?
There is no need to wear a uniform during the program.
I’m coming to school by car. Do you offer a drop off service?
Sorry, there is no drop-off service. Please kindly park a car at a parking lot in Midtown. It’s prohibited by the traffic rule to park a car on the road in front of our school. Please refrain from parking in front of the school even for a short period of time.
