My child wears a diaper during the day. Can my child join the program?

 Yes.

 

My child is in Elementary school. Can my child join the program?

Sorry, this program is for preschool-aged children.

 

I cannot seem to sign up. The signup page goes blank when I try to input information.

Please follow the below steps:

  1. Please check and see if your operating system and web browser are running the latest version. If not, please update the version.
  2. Please clear your cache (set the time range set to All Time) Please see here for how to clear cache.
  3. Please switch to another browser (Firefox,  Google Chrome, Safari, etc)
  4. Please try other devices (computer, smartphones, etc) (We do not recommend tablets)

Can you book a hotel for us?

We ask parents to book their own accommodation. Please see here for a list of recommended hotels.

 

Can parents stay and join the program?
We kindly request parents to leave the venue as soon as you drop your child off with the teachers.  This ensures a focused environment for all children and aids in your child’s swift development of independence.

 

My child has never learned Mandarin. Can he/she join?

Our program is perfect for children with various levels of Mandarin.

 

My child’s English is at a beginner’s level. Is my child going to be OK?

 The program is designed in a way that children of all different English level can enjoy.

 

 My child is joining a summer program for the first time. Is my child going to be OK?

Our experienced, knowledgeable staff who will be able to support your child to have an amazing experience.

 

My child cannot join the whole week. Can my child join less than 5 days (such as 3 days)?

Sorry, you must sign up per week.

 

What is the Ratio of teachers/ children?
 
Roppongi average 1 to 6
Toranomon average 1 to 6

 

Can my child join English and Mandarin class in one week?

You must select one language per week.

  

What kind of snack should I prepare for my child?

Fresh fruits such as bananas, apples, etc and rice crackers (senbei) are welcome. Please avoid sweets (candies such as chocolates, cookies, gummies) and potato chips. As we are a nut free school, please do not bring any type of nuts including peanut butter.

  

I would like to order lunch. Can I order?

You can order lunches from Kiwi Kitchen (03-3442-2210). Please call them directly. (in English or Japanese)

 

Do you apply for a visa or book accommodation?

Sorry, we do not apply for a visa or book accommodation. Here is the list of hotels you can stay at and recommended activities for parents.

 

I have signed up and made a payment but receive no Emails from EtonHouse.

Information regarding the program is sent to the Email addresses you registered on the registration form from the @etonhouse.co.jp domain.

We make sure that our Emails don’t end up in a spam box; however, if you are not receiving Emails from us, please kindly check your spam box. Please make sure to set in a way that your registered Email addresses can receive Emails from the @etonhouse.co.jp domain.

 

My child has learning, physical, behavioral or social difficulties. Which steps do I need to take in order to join the program?

Please write in detail on the signup form. We will review as follows for consideration. Here are the steps:

  1. Contact your child’s school teacher to gather information
  2. If you have a diagnosis from the doctor, please send via Email
  3. The Principal, Operational Director and Teachers who will be running the program will consider whether or not the program will be beneficial for your child.

We will be very careful with handling the above personal information.

 

How do I notify if my child is absent?

How do I notify if my child will be late arriving at the venue?

Please fill out this form (the Same as the form above)

 

Does my child need to wear a uniform during the program?

There is no need to wear a uniform during the program.

 

Even though it says that there is a spot available, I cannot seem to sign up.

You must sign up 7 days before the starting date.

 

I’m coming to school by car. Do you offer a drop off service?

Sorry, there is no drop off service. Please kindly park a car at a parking lot in Midtown. It’s prohibited by the traffic rule to park a car on the road in front of our school. Please refrain from parking in front of the school even for a short period of time.

 

If I arrive early, can my child enter the classroom before 8:30am?

You can enter the classroom at 8:30am. Please wait in the corridor if you arrive early.

 

The week I’m interested is already full. Can I put my child on a Waiting List?

If you cannot sign up, it means that the week is unfortunately already full. If your preferred week is full, please see here.

 

After signing up,  I informed the Credit Card company that this was an unauthorized transaction and asked them to cancel. What shall I do?

Please follow these steps.

You must sign up 7 days before the starting date.

 

The sign-up page doesn’t proceed to a payment page.

The page doesn’t prompt you to a payment page when there is an unfilled required column on the page. Please check to see all the required columns are filled.

If all the required columns are filled and the site still doesn’t proceed to a payment page, it means that unfortunately the spot is already filled by another person. Since it’s a 24-hour sign up online, it happens quite often.

Please check and see if the page still displays the vacancy.
