We are thrilled to announce the opening of the EtonHouse Japan’s Summer Camp 2026 registrations for Karuizawa and Madarao in Nagano Prefecture and also in Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

EtonHouse Japan’s summer camps in the breathtaking Nagano and Toyama Prefecture offer the perfect blend of adventure and growth. Immersed in the heart of nature and English, your child will participate in exciting hands-on activities like river trekking, campfire building, and woodworking – designed to develop essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and problem-solving.

The History of EtonHouse Japan Summer Camp

We have been running our summer camps at beautiful, carefully selected locations, providing children with the opportunity to learn and grow in nature for many years. Inspired by the incredible benefits of outdoor learning, we choose our campsites based on safety, natural beauty, and educational value. Our programs offer a wide range of activities designed to help children connect with nature, develop physical skills, and build teamwork and leadership abilities. In addition to outdoor adventures, campers also experience Japanese culture through various activities and the friendships they form. In 2025, thousand children participated in our summer camp programs, creating unforgettable memories and experiences in Japan.

The Benefits of Joining Summer Camp

  • Forest Trekking
    Explore breathtaking trails surrounded by nature’s wonders. Guided hikes provide a safe yet adventurous way for children to develop stamina, learn about the local flora and fauna, and cultivate an appreciation for the environment.
  • Tree Climbing
    Reach new heights with supervised tree-climbing sessions! Kids can test their limits while enjoying a unique perspective of the natural surroundings, all in a controlled and secure environment.
  • Nature Crafting
    Foster creativity through hands-on art projects inspired by nature. Using natural materials and diverse techniques, children can express their individuality and bring home a keepsake of their adventure.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    Engage in collaborative games and challenges that emphasise communication, trust, and leadership. These activities build social skills and lasting friendships, creating a memorable experience for all participants.
  • Shower Climbing@Rising Field
    Experience the thrill of climbing up gentle waterfalls and wading through streams. This activity combines physical challenge with team camaraderie, perfect for building resilience and confidence.
  • Obstacle Course@Rising Field
    Navigate through a variety of fun and challenging obstacles designed to improve agility, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Children learn perseverance and teamwork in this action-packed activity.
